The Right candidate for this CAD design job would have skills in

• CAD Design across a number of CAD packages, especially inventor
• Heavy machinery or vehicle design experience – mechanical design
• HNC or Degree (or higher)
• Be able to produce BoM’s (Bills of Materials)
• 2D and 3D conceptual design and modelling
• Full project knowledge – drawings, product structures, BoM’s, test schedules and more
• Knowledge of cost reduction in the manufacturing process

This company, based in Nottingham, are seeking contract and staff CAD Design engineers to fill a number of vacancies.

The right candidates for this CAD Design Job must

• Be skilled in a number of CAD Design packages
• Have experience in Catia v4/v5
• Ideally have Unigraphics skills
• Strong CAD experience, ideally in the Automotive or Aerospace markets
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions and powerdrive component design

You must also have strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and production methods.

This company, based in Cambridge, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an important role in their Research and Development Department.

The role will be designing low cost optical and mechanical assemblies using the latest CAD design technologies.

The right candidate for the job must have

• Expert CAD design knowledge
• An excellent mechanical design background, including optical assemblies and knowledge of mathematical procedures.
• AutoCAD experience
• Knowledge of the Solidworks CAD package is huge benefit
• Excellent product design experience
• Excellent knowledge and experience of designing plastic moulded products
• Knowledge of FMEA and analytical structures
• A keen awareness and understanding of best practices relating to lean manufacturing
